Based in Congleton and Sandbach, The Real thing offers an Aladdin’s cave of treasures in jewellery and gifts. Since conception 18 years ago The Real Things goal has been to offer customers a choice of jewellery that is refreshingly different and unique. Prices range from £1.99 upwards and the staff are proud to confirm that for the price of an imitation elsewhere we can offer “The Real Thing”. Stones are set in sterling silver or 9ct gold and vary in origin from the Orkney Islands to Israel. We stock fine pieces in sterling silver alone, as well as gem set pieces emphasising more unusual stones such as Iolite, green amber, pink sapphires and green diamonds. Gifts include practical presents for men and women who have everything, from pocket ashtrays, to novelty decision makers, to Lord of the Rings collectors goblets. We also offer a repair service for both precious metal and costume jewellery, whilst retreads and fashion jewellery can be repaired on the premises. We also have a first class goldsmith who carries out quality repairs at a reasonable price, for example chain repairs start from £4.50 and ring sizing from £7.00.
