Waste Minimisation and Recycling of Waste

Have you ever related any of the following questions to your company?

  • Are you 100% sure that you can't re-use any of your waste?
  • Could any waste be recycled?
  • Could somebody else take it off your hands for an alternative use?
  • Could you launder any, or all of your waste material and re-use it yourself?

One visit from our staff could set your mind at ease, even if you have already had a similar service offered to you in the past that highlighted no benefits to your company. You may now find that there are alternative routes that your current waste company are not looking at. Perhaps you would benefit from a FREE consultation - it could save you time or money, and most probably both!

Asbestos Surveys and Removal

Asbestos is one waste stream that most people are very aware of, and that exposure to damaged or degraded asbestos can cause health risks over time.

Spirchem North West adhere to the latest MDHS 100 regulations. This MDHS sets out how to survey workplace premises for asbestos containing materials (ACMs) and how to record the results in a usable form. It also gives advice on how to recognise and sample suspected ACMs and how to assess them for their relative risk, so that all the relevant information to produce a plan to manage the risk from asbestos is available. The MDHS has been produced as part of guidance issued by the Health & Safety Executive. If you have any doubts as to whether the regulations apply to you, please see our Asbestos page and complete our on-line questonnaire.
