Jacketed Pipework Valves Valve Jackets Pipes Piped Systems Specialists

Pipework Fabrication Services Ltd has been established for over ten years in Cheshire UK close to junction 17 of the M6. Consisting of a core of technical and workshop staff boasting, between them, over 100 years experience in process control systems, production of valve jackets and jacketed pipework.

The unique design of jacketed pipework consists of a pipe within a pipe, so that the process pipe is shrouded by an outer casing kept at a constant temperature by running steam or hot water through the annulus between the pipes. This prevents ambient cooling of the product, thus enabling an even flow.

We extend this process even further by producing a valve jacket to ensure an even flow of both product and heating medium. This design can be used for many different types of industry including bitumen, sulphur, fats, chocolates, paints, adhesives and many more. We can produce small and large Bottle Skids and Kettles in stainless steel pipework, either process or jacketed, from half inch diameter upwards and can include weldneck or slip-on flanges.

Pipework Fabrications offers a complete design and installation service throughout the UK, including England, Scotland and North and South Wales, or we will work to your design and specification.

Specialist Welding Fabrication Coded & Carbon Steel Welders

Pipework Fabrications also specialise in fabrication welding and have many years experience of coded welding and carbon steel welding techniques. We can carry out work at our workshop, or on site anywhere in the UK.

Stainless Steel Pipework Fabrication

Stainless steel pipework is used in many process pipework installations such as oil and gas, food and beverage, water industries, chemical and pharmaceutical industries, to name just a few.

Stainless steel is more resistant to corrosion than ordinary carbon, mild or alloy steels and can be sterilised for use in hygienic pipework; this a requirement in some industries where health and safety legislation requires it such as food processing.

Also, stainless steel pipework has a lower coefficient of friction compared to carbon steel pipes giving greater strength and ductility and with high corrosion resistance and easy welding, water leaks can be drastically reduced.

As stainless steel pipework is resistant to crevice corrosion, cavitation and wear in pure and polluted waters as well as in atmosphere (even polluted), they are cost effective for long term use and do not cause environmental pollution.
