Callum McPhaill Photography was an idea I had while I was working as a full-time photographer in a
studio in Stirling. I am glad I started my own photography business, as I love my work.

"My Photography" - I think the photographs all have one thing in common, they are different.

During the course of my photography I stretch the traditional until it is alternative.

I stretch the alternative until it is almost traditional.

I do normal photography.

I do weird photography.

I do strange and surreal photography.

I do artistic photography.

I strive to produce something different to the mainstream and the high street studios I like to think,
both in my own studio and out on location in Edinburgh and towns in East, West and Mid Lothian.

My studio, is inside the cottage myself and my partner Sheena live in. It’s ten miles to the east of
Edinburgh, in a small , harbour town near Tranent, right on the East Lothian coast.

There are beautiful beach and harbour locations for as far as the eye can see, and we are just 50 yards
from the sea shore line, with a beautiful beach and rocky outcrops and rock formations.

So, amazing sceneries for location portraits, or quirky, fun filled colourful studio techniques
and styles. It's your choice, but I guarantee you this. You will get something different, get
something unusual, and get something that will stay with you for life.
