Home Cooked Food at Shelly's Restaurant Shelly's is in the heart of Warrington, Cheshire . We are located on Bold street near the Cultural Quarter. Warrington is soon to have the most wonderful new shopping precinct, and Shelly's will be your favourite restaurant where you can eat wonderful food after a great shopping experience in Warrington Town centre. At Shelly's you will enjoy fine fresh food prepared to your liking on the premises. We have no microwaves; preferring to cook where possible on Cromwell our beautiful AGA cooker renowned for producing the best roast’s, casseroles, cakes and outstanding old fashioned puddings. Our Soup's have become so popular and are so good that people love them, as it takes you back to your childhood when Grandma spoiled you with wonderful soups and warm bread and butter. Once you have been to Shellys in Warrington Town centre, you will just keep coming back for more! Food in the mornings at Shelly's Restaurant. We open at 9.00am or 9.30am every day except Sunday, serving wonderful fresh coffee and good pots of tea, with one tea bag for you and one for the pot! Try our toasted croissants, or toast done on Cromwell, our beloved AGA cooker. This produces toast like you used to have in front of a fire, tasting the same as at Grannies house! How about Crumpets all oozing with real butter, Toasted Teacakes or Welsh Rarebit? Or to really go for it, Shelly’s Eggs Benedict Hot Muffin with bacon, and a poached egg drizzled with hollandaise sauce - too scrummy!!!! From 11.30am We start with our LUNCH menu. Every day we have a lovely “Soup of the Day” we make ourselves with lovely fresh bread. Shelly's Baguettes .... Hot Steak & red onion, or Hot Steak & Mushroom, or Hot Chicken Goujons marinated in honey & soy sauce, or Hot Chicken Goujons with Ham & cheese. There are a number of other delicious fillings available, all served with side salad. Afternoon Tea at Shelly's Restaurant. We have a great selection of sandwiches including Salmon & Cucumber, Prawn & Marie Rose sauce, all served with fresh generous salad and hand baked crisps. Shelly's Warm Scones with jam and thick cream Toasted teacakes, Welsh rarebit and a selection of cakes also available. Do have a look in the chilled cabinet for a wonderful dessert!!!!! Dinner & Evening Meals at Shelly's Restaurant. Dinner & evening meals are served from 6.30pm with last orders for food taken at 9.00pm We have a great menu complimented by fine red, white and rosé wines.
